Employability: Interview Techniques

This 2.5-hour workshop will focus on the interview process, helping you to develop the skills necessary to improve your chances of securing employment. It is perfect for those seeking to gain confidence and enhance their interview performance.

The workshop will cover key interview techniques, including: • Effective question and answer techniques Non-verbal and verbal communication • How to analyse your own strengths and weaknesses • Key interview techniques to boost your confidence and performance during interviews. • Non-verbal and verbal communication

You will participate in group activities and discussions, with some written work included. The course is designed to be interactive and supportive, giving you practical experience in a safe and encouraging environment.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course; however, you will need to use IT. If you are not confident with your IT skills, consider our Learn How to Use Your Google Classroom or Digital Skills for Beginners courses. To benefit fully, you must have at least Level 1 English Skills (ESOL or Functional Skills). If this is not the case, an alternative option is available.

This workshop is part of Leicester Adult Education’s suite of free employability courses. It will equip you with the skills required for job interviews and could lead to further accredited vocational courses to enhance your career prospects.
