Employability: Create a CV

These two 2.5-hour workshops will equip you with the skills to create an effective CV that showcases your abilities and experience in the best possible light. Whether you're just starting your job search or looking to refresh your CV, this course is designed to help you stand out.

In these two interactive 2.5-hour workshops, you will: • Learn how to edit and update your CV for maximum impact. • Tailor your CV to match specific job descriptions. • Confidently describe your employment history and achievements.

Throughout the course, you will use a computer to create your CV and participate in group activities and discussions. These sessions are designed to build both your technical and employability skills in a supportive environment.

There are no formal entry requirements, but you will be using IT. If you are not confident with your IT skills consider our Learn how to use your Google Classroom or Digital Skills for Beginners courses. You must have minimum Level 1 English Skills (ESOL or Functional Skills) to benefit from this course. An alternative option is available if this is not the case.
