This course is a continuation from the British Sign Language for Beginners course

You will continue developing your BSL communication skills and confidence in the language. This course follows the Level 1 specification for BSL but it is not a qualification course

In this non-qualification course you will learn the language in an immersive way. The tutor will be responsive to the class needs, responding to the group weaknesses. Learners are expected to practice their BSL both in class and as homework tasks. This gives the tutor an opportunity to identify group weaknesses and to provide you with personalised feedback to help you improve.

You must have some previous knowledge of the language. Ideally you will have completed a BSL for beginners course
