The course is for anyone who would like to feel less isolated and more in control of their life and is willing to share ideas and experiences in a small group setting.

This new 2-hour short Personal Development course provides a brief introduction to help you understand resilience and provide some simple strategies to try to help you become more confident and more able to cope with, and bounce back quickly from, the everyday challenges life throws your way. The course covers a range of cognitive, emotional, physical and social tools. 

The course is tutor led in a small friendly group here at The Adult Education College and may help you develop the confidence to consider and / or take part in other adult education courses either as part of the Personal Development package or in other curriculum areas. The course is for anyone who would like to feel more in control of their life and is willing to share ideas and experiences in a small group setting.

The course is one of a small package of Personal Development Courses aimed at developing confidence, managing stress and promoting health and wellbeing. You may develop the confidence to enrol on other courses at Adutl Eucation or else where in the community.
