Welcome to our new curriculum area!
Life can be stressful at times and it is very important to take care of ourselves and support our physical and mental wellbeing. Our Wellbeing courses offer purposeful and enriching learning experiences which allow learners to take time out for themselves. Our tutors will encourage learners to immerse themselves in the activities, to focus on the process and to build confidence in developing skills and creativity to support wellbeing. There will be opportunities to socialise within a community of adult learners and to work collaboratively.
Our Wellbeing Programme covers four themes: Physical, Mental, Creative and Everyday skill. Each course will challenge and inspire learners to identify and meet their personal learning goals. We offer a range of courses from Yoga to Mindfulness in Nature, Pottery for the Self to Mixed Media and Self Discover and a range of outdoor gardening activities including making hanging baskets and encouraging wildlife in our urban habitats.
