English Courses

At Leicester Adult Education, we offer English courses that allow learners the chance to gain a qualification.

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

At Leicester Adult Education, we offer English courses that are designed for people whose first language is not English. Our courses are adapted to each individual and their level of learning, whether they are a complete beginner (pre-entry) or advanced (level 2).

Family Learning

Family Learning at Leicester Adult Education is about families learning together, by encouraging parents and carers to learn new skills alongside their children.

Courses for Learners with Learning Disabilities and Difficulties (LLDD)

We are pleased to offer a variety of courses for people aged 25 and over with moderate learning
disabilities and difficulties.

REMIT – Adult Education for Mental Health

REMIT, a part of Leicester Adult Education, is a community-based education programme in Leicester for people aged 19+ who experience severe and enduring mental health difficulties. The programme is accessed via referral from a medical or mental health professional.
